What people ask about live freestyle sets
-
How long is a typical freestyle football performance?
A set is typically 5 to 30 minutes. Five-minute sets work well as a feature inside a larger show. Fifteen- to thirty-minute sets are standard for fan zones and festivals, often delivered as several shorter pieces across a shift.
-
How much space do you need to perform?
A 6×6 metre clear performance area is the minimum for most routines. Aerial-heavy sets benefit from a 3-metre ceiling clearance. Indoor and outdoor venues both work as long as the surface is flat and dry.
-
Can the performance be choreographed to specific music?
Yes. Grayson syncs to a music cue you provide or to a curated set he develops for the event. He performs to clean radio edits and explicit tracks alike. Let him know which is appropriate for your audience.
-
Do you provide your own equipment?
Yes. Grayson brings his own performance balls and a portable speaker for smaller venues. For larger venues, please provide a PA feed and at least one wedge monitor.
-
Are multi-set days available?
Yes. Multi-set days (for example, three 15-minute sets across an afternoon) are common at festivals and fan zones. Multi-day rates are also available for tournaments and weekend events.

- Street activations and pop-ups
What you get
- Multi-set day or weekend bookings
- Pre-event social teasers from previous performances
- Roving (walking) and stage variants
- Approved crowd photo and reel content
Format
Multiple short sets across an event window, roving between or dedicated stage
Typical duration
4–8 hour shifts typical; multi-day rates available
What people ask about fan zones & festivals
-
Why book a freestyle footballer for a fan zone?
Freestyle reads instantly to a football-savvy crowd and converts strangers into spectators in under thirty seconds. It works as ambient entertainment between matches, as a headline performance before kickoff, and as branded content the venue can post later.
-
Can performances run between matches?
Yes. Multiple short sets between matches is one of the most effective uses of freestyle at a fan zone. A typical shift is 4 to 8 hours with three or four 10–15 minute sets spaced throughout.
-
Do you do roving (walk-around) performance?
Yes. Roving freestyle works well in larger fan zones with multiple gathering points. Grayson moves between locations across a shift, drawing in pockets of the crowd and creating clip-able moments.
-
Do you bring your own sound for festivals?
For smaller stages, yes. A portable speaker covers up to a few hundred people. For larger stages and fan zones, please provide a PA feed and a wedge monitor; Grayson supplies the music.
-
How do festival or fan-zone fees compare to private events?
Festival and fan-zone fees are typically structured as day or shift rates rather than per-set rates, with multi-day discounts for weekend bookings. Email for a quote that includes travel where applicable.

- Approved social cuts delivered post-event
Format
Live performance plus content deliverables; can be combined with a shoot day
Typical duration
Half-day or full-day engagements
What people ask about brand activations
-
Can performances be customized for a brand?
Yes. Custom routines, branded balls, brand-coloured kits, and choreographed moments around a product or sponsor logo are all part of a typical activation. Routine development is included in any half- or full-day activation booking.
-
Do you provide content from the activation?
Yes. Standard deliverables include behind-the-scenes capture during the event plus approved social cuts delivered within seven days. Cuts are sized for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts in vertical, with horizontal versions available.
-
Can a brand activation include a content shoot day?
Yes, and it is often the most efficient use of the booking. A typical structure is a half-day shoot the morning of the activation, followed by the live performance, which gives you both polished campaign assets and live-action content from the same day.
-
What lead time do you need for a custom brand routine?
Four to six weeks is comfortable. Anything tighter is possible depending on complexity. Straightforward branded performances (custom ball, custom track) can come together in two weeks. Bespoke choreography around a product needs the full window.
-
Do you work with rights-holder sponsors during major tournaments?
Yes. Grayson is independent and can be contracted by any rights-holder or sponsor activating around a major tournament, including FIFA World Cup 2026 in Vancouver. He is not exclusive to any sponsor as of 2026.

Format
Half- to full-day shoot, in studio or on location
Typical duration
4–8 hour shoot; 7-day delivery window
What people ask about content creation
-
What format do you deliver content in?
Standard delivery includes vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) cuts, in 1080p, with up to four platform-ready edits per shoot day. Source files are available on request.
-
How long is the turnaround on content shoots?
Edits are delivered within seven days of the shoot under standard turnaround. Rush 48-hour turnaround is available for an additional fee, subject to availability.
-
Can you shoot at our location, or do we come to yours?
Both work. On-location shoots happen wherever the brand needs: retail, stadium, agency, studio. For brands without a location preference, Grayson has working relationships with a few Vancouver studios.
-
Do you write the concept, or do you work from one we provide?
Either way works. Concept development from scratch is included in the booking. Working from a provided concept or brand brief is also straightforward. Most agencies prefer this and it keeps revisions tighter.
General booking questions
-
What is football freestyle?
Football freestyle is a performance discipline built around controlling a soccer ball with every part of the body except the hands. Skills include juggling, ground moves, sit-downs, and aerials, set to music in front of an audience. It draws from soccer, dance, and breaking, and is judged in competition by difficulty, originality, control, and style.
-
Where is Grayson Allen based and how far does he travel?
Grayson is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He performs across the Lower Mainland and Western Canada as a standard, and travels internationally on request. Travel and accommodation for bookings outside the Greater Vancouver area are quoted on top of the performance fee.
-
How much lead time do you need to book a performance?
Two to three weeks is comfortable for most live bookings. Brand activations and content shoots that require routine development or branded materials benefit from four to six weeks. For the FIFA World Cup 2026 window (June 13 to July 19, 2026), the calendar is filling now. Earlier is strongly recommended.
-
What are your performance space requirements?
A 6×6 metre clear performance area is the standard. Surfaces should be flat and dry: concrete, hardwood, sport flooring, and turf all work. Outdoor performances need shelter from heavy rain. Power is required nearby if you would like music run from the stage; otherwise Grayson can bring a portable speaker.
-
Does Grayson provide his own equipment?
Yes. He performs with his own match-grade and freestyle-spec balls. For shoots and brand activations he can perform with sponsor-supplied balls when provided in advance. He carries a portable speaker for small venues; larger venues should provide a wedge monitor or PA feed.
-
